Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) are multipotent stromal cells that can differentiate into a variety of cell types, including bone, cartílago, and fat. MSCs are found in a variety of tissues, incluyendo la médula ósea, tejido adiposo, y sangre del cordón umbilical. They are also found in the Wharton’s jelly of the umbilical cord.
