In sterile laboratories, scientists under a microscope examine cells that will provide people with a body full of youth and health for a long time. Do you think this is a scene from a science fiction movie? Dans un futur proche, all this may become a reality.

Using stem cells to fight aging and to renew damaged tissue is not a fundamentally new idea. Charlie Chaplin used to undergo stem cell treatment in a Swiss clinic. Then stem cells obtained from sheep tissues were used.

Stem cell research continues, and is currently proven to be effective in the treatment of certain blood diseases. A novelty in the use of stem cells is their use in the fight against the least pleasant process in our life – vieillissement.

MORE ABOUT STEM CELLS

Imagine that stem cells, like little conscientious workers, go out of their way to keep the body functioning properly. Embryonic stem cells are omnipotent because they are able to create any tissue and even organ.

Adult stem cells appear throughout our life, they are called multipotent, i.e. they can only create some fabrics, and therefore their effectiveness is limited. Cependant, they are an important source of regeneration and self-renewal in our body. In adulthood, the main sources of stem cells are bone marrow and adipose tissue. Stem cells are also found in the peripheral blood for regeneration purposes, but there are significantly fewer of them.

OWN FABRIC MEDICINE

It may shock you, but the medicine is within us. The selection of so-called mesenchymal stem cells capable of creating a new vessel, cartilage and even a nerve cell is painless.

INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT

The advantage of stem cell therapy is that it can transform into a cell in any organ and act exactly where it is needed. Donc, the risk of unwanted side effects is minimized.
