    In SLE, MSC infusions lead to reduced systemic inflammation, improved skin health, and decreased joint pain. MSCs achieve this by suppressing autoreactive B and T cells, increasing regulatory T cell populations, and reducing production of pathogenic autoantibodies. Through homing to inflamed organs, MSCs stabilize immune activity and promote tissue repair, particularly in kidneys, pelle, and joints affected by lupus.
