There are several types of stem cell therapies used in the treatment

1) Induced pluripotent الخلايا الجذعية (also known as iPS cells or iPSCs, IP الخلايا الجذعية )
are a type of pluripotent الخلية الجذعية that can be generated directly from adult cells.
The iPSC technology was pioneered by Shinya Yamanaka’s lab in Kyoto, اليابان, who showed in 2006 that the introduction of four specific genes encoding transcription factors could convert adult cells into pluripotent الخلايا الجذعية.

Because they can propagate indefinitely, as well as give rise to every other cell type in the body (such as neurons, قلب, pancreatic, and liver cells), they represent a single source of cells that could be used to replace those lost to damage or disease.
Since iPSCs can be derived directly from adult tissues, they not only bypass the need for embryos, but can be made in a patient-matched manner, which means that each individual could have their own pluripotent الخلية الجذعية line. These unlimited supplies of autologous cells could be used to generate transplants without the risk of immune rejection.
2) Autologous stem-cell transplantation
(وتسمى أيضا تلقائي, Autogeneic, أو زرع الخلايا الجذعية الذاتي واختصار Auto-SCT) هل الزرع الذاتي للخلايا الجذعية - أي, transplantation in which الخلايا الجذعية (الخلايا غير المتمايزة التي تتطور منها أنواع الخلايا الأخرى) تتم إزالتها من شخص, تخزين, ثم أعيد إلى ذلك الشخص نفسه.
Although it is most frequently performed with hematopoietic الخلايا الجذعية (precursors of blood-forming cells) في المكونة للدم الخلية الجذعية transplantation, cardiac cells have also been used successfully to repair damage caused by heart attacks
Autologous stem-cell transplantation is distinguished from allogenic الخلية الجذعية transplantation where the donor and the recipient of the الخلايا الجذعية are different people.
3) Allogeneic stem cells
In an allogeneic transplant, الخلايا الجذعية are collected from a matching donor and transplanted into the patient to suppress the disease and restore the patient’s immune system. An allogeneic الخلية الجذعية transplant is different from an autologous الخلية الجذعية transplant, which uses الخلايا الجذعية من جسم المريض.
