How to protect yourself from coronavirus?

Strong immune system is a major success in the fight against coronavirus.

Besides healing damaged tissues, stem cells have the unique ability to modulate the immune system so as to shut off pathological responses while preserving its ability to fight off disease. Stem cells and specifically, mesenchymal stem cells home to inflamed tissue and start producing anti-inflammatory agents.

Embryonic stem cells (ESC) which were initially characterized as immune privileged subsequently have proven susceptible to immune recognition. Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) have been proposed as an autologous source of pluripotent cells; however, more recent data now suggest that even autologous iPSCs may be targets of immune rejection. With numerous clinical trials on the horizon, it is imperative that the immunology of pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) be definitively understood.
