新华社东京5月8日电 日本一家生物制药公司尝试用干细胞修复受损脑神经组织获得成效，参与试验的患者运动机能得到改善。这家公司计划明年向日本厚生劳动省申请许可批量生产这种再生医疗产品。
据《朝日新闻》8日报道，这家名为SanBio的创业公司主要研发再生医疗药品，日本再生医疗领域知名学者、庆应义塾大学医学部教授冈野荣之是科研团队成员。在这项新试验中，研究人员从健康人骨髓中提取出间充质干细胞并大量培养，制成再生医疗产品。间充质干细胞是可以分化形成多种组织细胞的多功能干细胞，常被用于再生医疗研究。
研究小组将这种再生医疗产品注射到46名外伤性脑损伤患者的大脑损伤部位，并和没有接受注射的另外15名患者进行比较。结果发现，接受注射的患者手脚运动机能有明显改善。
研究人员据此认为，注射干细胞制品帮助了脑内神经细胞再生，改善了患者的运动机能。该公司称，这种干细胞制品尚未发现安全问题，接受移植者也基本没有出现排异反应。
据介绍，研究团队已经在上月举行的美国神经外科医生协会年会上报告了新成果。公司计划明年年初向日本厚生劳动省申请许可生产并销售这种再生医疗产品。
